5 Healthy Recipes in 20 Minutes

Many people use the excuse they are too busy, or don’t have time to eat or live a healthy lifestyle – but in my opinion if something is important to you, you will make time for it. That being said, I am a fan of salads in a mason jar, and of cooking my packed lunches the day before.  Being healthy is more than making better choices, it is a way of living – if being healthy becomes a daily habit for you AND your family, then you are home-free! The team at Sunlighten has come up with some awesome

Completing IRONMAN – A Journey in Itself

It’s done!  I completed my first IRONMAN race and feel incredibly humbled and grateful for all the support I received from friends, family and mentors.  I had a tremendous amount of support from my wife who also completed her first marathon on October 15th, 2016. In the words of Don Williams Jr., our lessons come from the journey, not the destination.  I learned a lot about myself throughout this process – it taught me what I was made of and I was constantly bumping up against my own perceived limitations.  The good thing about limitations is they aren’t permanent.  With

How to Build Muscles Safely & Effectively

While muscles do have a certain aesthetic quality about them, there are many benefits to staying toned and fit.  If you haven’t heard by now, our own chief Aaron started his muscle-building regime to prepare himself for the IRONMAN competition November 5th in Florida.  It has been quite a journey for him, and all of us stand behind him and support him in reaching his health goals.  While he has toned up (not that he was ever in bad shape), his strength training regime had to fit in with his busy schedule.  So from the start, if you are already

We were so happy to support our partner, Generation Rescue, during the 2016 Autism Education Summit.  Generation Rescue is the leading national organization that provides hope, information, and immediate treatment and assistance to families affected by autism spectrum disorder (ASD). BulletProof Biohacking Conference 2016 – What an Experience!

I just attended the 2016 Biohacking Bulletproof Conference, and it was absolutely amazing!  We learned so much about holistic wellness from what I like to refer to as “the trinity” – body, mind and spirit.  The speakers were great, the tech hall was fantastic and anything having to do with health and wellness excites me in general – especially when they mention Sunlighten Saunas and the benefits of LED light therapy. What is Bulletproof® and BioHacking? This was the 4th annual conference put on by a company called Bulletproof®.  Bulletproof® is an organization founded in Bellevue, Washington by a man
