Celebrities-Who-Use-Saunas

Need one more reason to try out infrared sauna therapy?  It’s one of the biggest anti-aging trends in the celebrity world! Health-focused celebs are touting the benefits of infrared saunas – from detox to weight loss to improved sleep – as a key component of their health and wellness regimes. Some even claim infrared saunas as a secret to their beauty! Just check out these four superstars who use an infrared sauna on a regular basis.

Jennifer Aniston

When it comes to beauty, Jennifer Aniston is all about the natural methods, including infrared sauna use. During an interview with Forbes.com about her fitness and beauty tips, Aniston shared her love of infrared sauna: “it just allows for such beautiful, glowing skin and cell rejuvenation and detoxification.  It even helps with weight loss and relaxation.”  Aniston cites the cell generation benefits of infrared sauna use in particular as a secret behind her flawless skin. (Her other big secret to healthy skin? Hydration! We’re on board with both those things, Jennifer!)

Lady Gaga

Pop music queen Lady Gaga is a frequent infrared sauna user.  She has been very open with her struggle with fibromyalgia over the years and how infrared therapy has helped relieve her chronic pain. In her Netfilx documentary, Gaga: Five Foot Two, you see Gaga dealing with intense physical pain and treating it with our portable Solo sauna.  The Solo is an amazing pain treatment as the infrared heaters help the body heal itself naturally by penetrating joints, muscles and tissues, increasing circulation and speeding oxygen flow.

In an Instagram post, Gaga said she frequently uses an infrared sauna for pain control.  “I still deal with bone inflammation from my hip injury two years ago. But I keep control of pain with infrared sauna. A great investment for everyone, I use mine everyday. Getting my body ready for the show tonight!”

I was so overwhelmed by the empathy, confessions & personal stories of chronic pain in response to my previous post I thought what the hell. Maybe I should just share some of my personal remedies I’ve acquired over the past five years. Everyone’s body and condition is different U should consult w ure Dr. but what the heck here we go! When my body goes into a spasm one thing I find really helps is infrared sauna. I’ve invested in one. They come in a large box form as well as a low coffin-like form and even some like electric blankets! You can also look around your community for a infrared sauna parlor or homeopathic center that has one. I combine this treatment with marley silver emergency blankets (seen in the photo) that trap in the heat and are very cheap, reusable and effective for detox as well as weight loss! In order to not overheat my system and cause more inflammation i follow this with either a VERY cold bath, ice bath (if u can stand it, it’s worth it) or the most environmentally savvy way is to keep many reusable cold packs in the freezer ( or frozen peas’ n carrots’!) and pack them around the body in all areas of pain. Hope this helps some of you, it helps me to keep doing my passion, job and the things I love even on days when I feel like I can’t get out of bed. Love you and thank you for all your positive messages.

Cindy Crawford

Cindy Crawford might be closing in on 50, but she certainly doesn’t look it. Thanks no doubt in part to her strict beauty regime, the supermodel has maintained flawless hair and skin for decades. In an interview with Into the Gloss, Cindy dished her best beauty secrets – one of which is spending at least 20 minutes once a week in an infrared sauna. Cindy praises infrared saunas for many different health benefits: detoxification, relaxation and improved circulation, as well as its many benefits for the skin, including collage reduction and improved skin tone. Cindy also says that regular sauna use helps improve her sleep – and gives her 20 minutes of uninterrupted reading time!

Gwyneth Paltrow

Gwyneth Paltrow is really into the detox lifestyle. No, really. She talks about it often on her website, goop.com. Gwyneth’s detox strategy is many-pronged, with at least one of those prongs being infrared sauna use. In “The Annual goop Detox” that the site publishes post-holiday season, Goop recommends infrared saunas as an effective way to get the lymphatic system moving and produce a healthy, detoxifying sweat. In the past Gwyneth has also shared a post on the power of infrared saunas, as well as a roundup of the staff’s favorite sauna to to relax and recharge.
