Solo System - Product Support

Frequently Asked Questions:

Best Place to Setup
The Solo System is best used on a surface that can be exposed to heat. The underside of the solopad will get hot and needs to be on a surface that can withstand the heat. We suggest using a massage table, bed, floor layered with blankets or towels, etc.
Cleaning Tips
The Sunlighten cleaning kit will help neutralize most of the staining that builds up over time and usage. For heavier stains we suggest using natural cleaners that will not off gas when exposed to higher temperatures. Vinegar and water is always a good fail-safe.
55 Default Setting

When your solo turns on it will be at 55 , this is not 55 degrees this is an intensity level of 5 for the upper dome and 5 for the lower. Check your user guide for the temperature readings for levels 1-9

Temperature is set but no heat

Ensure timer is set as well. Both the solo dome and pad will need both an intensity and a time input to start heating

Chromo lights aren’t coming on

Ensure battery is in remote and that the remote is being pointed at the control coconut vs the lighting strip

Frequently Asked Questions:

Floor Heater doesn’t seem as hot as the wall heaters

The floor heater is designed to output less than the wall heaters. This ensures that the wooden grate that is on top of the heaters lasts for a longer time span and your toes don’t over heat.

Cleaning Tips

Use the all natural cleaning kit with wood and glass cleaner on the sauna. You don’t want to use harsh chemicals for you don’t want to put those in your body. If you have harder sweat residue use the sanding sponge to ensure stain removal. Don’t have a cleaning kit? Purchase one online or use a solution of diluted vinegar water. Allow all cleaners to dry before turning sauna on and do not overly saturate

Lights are Flickering

This means the barrel connection on the roof that connects to your control panel wall has not been successfully mated or has come loose. Gain access to the roof and look for the black wire with the silver ring keeping both sides together – disconnect this connection and re connect, securing the two with the metal ring. This will stop both the clicking and the strobe effect.

My temperature is displaying in Celsius, how do I reset it to Fahrenheit?

With the unit ON, press the Temperature Up and Down keys simultaneously. It will toggle between Fahrenheit and Celcius.

My timer is showing numbers 1 through 24 and wont heat. What do I do?

The sauna is in Reserve Mode. To go back to Normal operation. Turn the sauna off. Then press the Timer Up and Down keys simultaneously. ( You can also unplug the sauna to set it back to standard operating mode.)

Heating Expectancy
Under normal conditions your sauna will heat one degree per minute until around 115-120 once the sauna has heated up you can expect the temperature to rise 1 degree every 3-5 minutes. If your sauna is outdoors or surrounded by concrete it may take slightly longer to heat.
Best temperature to be in the sauna
The ideal temperature to get the best infrared benefit is between 100-135. While higher temperatures may make you sweat more quickly you do not receive a higher benefit from them.
Why am I not Sweating
If you are using the sauna for the first time your body may need to adjust to receiving infrared treatment. Ensure that you drink 8 + oz of water before you use the sauna and you have allowed the sauna to preheat for at least 30 minutes to enable you to get the most out of your session. The human body can take time to adjust or to push out toxins that have been built up for years. If you are looking to increase the intensity of your sweat check out the Pure Sweat cream to increase your results. How to Achieve the Ultimate Sauna Experience
Tablet went dark
The sauna screen goes into a low power mode when the screen is not being interacted with. This saves power but does not lose any of your settings or where you are in your session.

This error occurs when the Netflix app is not fully up to date. Check to see that your Sunlighten app is fully updated by going to your settings and set up. Then ensure google play and Netflix are updated by going to your more apps section and clicking on the links. These do need to be updated in this order for best results.
I can’t hear anything when I try to play an app. Why?
Make sure your DVD/Media player is set to Aux. You can adjust with the SRC button near the volume knob. (Note: Individual 3rd party apps can have their own volume control as well.)
